Your Goldsmith
Meet Martina
Goldsmith. Graduate Gemologist. The person behind every piece made in this studio.
Martina didn't open her studio until she had her Graduate Gemologist degree in hand. That says everything about how she approaches this work.

Martina's Story
A Lifelong Love of the Craft
Martina's love of jewelry didn't start in a studio — it started in an elementary school art class, where an encouraging teacher lit a spark that never went out. She carried that passion through high school, discovering jewelry making at Williamsport Area High School. From that moment, she knew exactly where she was headed.
She earned her BFA in Fine Metals from Kutztown University, then pursued the Graduate Gemologist degree from the GIA — the organization that set the worldwide standard for diamond grading.
“I want customers to know that I have extensive education in diamonds and can explain them clearly. My integrity is invaluable to me.” — Martina Guerra
Most recently she added her International Gemological Appraiser degree — and she's still going, currently completing an online pavé diamond setting course.

Hanna's Story
Fifteen Years of Loving This Work
Hanna Smith owns Momoyo Otsu, her jewelry store in Lock Haven, with a clothing and accessories shop attached. Jewelry is what it's known for, and it's the other place you'll find Martina's work.
Hanna is a GIA-certified jewelry professional with more than fifteen years in the industry. She knows how a piece is built and why one stone costs what another doesn't. Ask her which ring someone will still be reaching for in ten years and she'll have an answer.
“When you walk into my store, I want you to feel welcomed like family.” — Hanna Smith
She means it. Hanna cares about the person wearing the piece as much as the piece itself, and she treats every order with the attention to detail it deserves — which is why placing a custom order with her feels no different from walking into the studio.
Education & Credentials
What Her Credentials Mean for You
01
GIA Graduate Gemologist (G.G.)
The GIA set the diamond grading system used worldwide. When Martina evaluates a diamond for you, she's using the same standards as the most respected labs in the world — and explaining it in plain language you can actually understand.
02
International Gemological Appraiser
Martina is a credentialed gemological appraiser and provides written appraisals for pieces made in her studio — giving you the documentation you need for insurance purposes.
03
BFA in Fine Metals
Every piece Martina creates reflects formal fine arts training alongside years of hands-on practice. This isn't a hobby — it's a craft she's spent a lifetime refining.
“Each piece I create is unique in its design. I enjoy hearing a customer's ideas and thoughts and then bringing them to life in something they will treasure forever.”
— Martina Guerra
